Types of Radiology
At Family First Medical Center, we have four general types of radiology.
X-ray

Our in-house x-ray machine offers unmatched convenience. This eliminates extra communication between different medical practices. It also gives us the ability to control your experience by allowing us to diagnose and treat you more quickly right here at our office.

Mammography

In addition to our other radiology modalities, we provide mammograms. We all know that getting your mammogram can be stressful. We can ease some of that stress through the convenience and care of our staff. Self-Pay price for a mammogram is $250

Body Composition

Family First Medical Center is committed to helping you with your wellness goals. To better serve you in these endeavors, we offer complete body composition scans. Body composition scans “provide an in-depth analysis of your fat tissues, lean mass, and bone density.” You’ll learn specific information ranging from Total Body Fat Percentage to Resting Metabolic Rate (# of calories you need to maintain your current mass). Take charge of your health and wellness with a body composition scan today.This service is not covered by insurance and a $50 charge will apply before service.

DEXA

Another radiological service we offer here at Family First is a Dual-energy x-ray absoptiometry (DEXA) scan. We can better diagnose osteoporosis, among other conditions, by learning about your body’s bone mineral density. Schedule a DEXA with us today to take control of your bone health.

We work with most major insurance providers. Our billing team can help verify your coverage and explain any out-of-pocket expenses before your visit.

What are your hours?

We are open Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 6:30pm and Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. We offer same-day treatments when possible.

Can I see multiple specialists?

As a comprehensive medical center, we have multiple specialists under one roof. This allows seamless coordination of your healthcare needs across different medical disciplines.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes, we provide telehealth consultations for certain medical services. Our providers can assess your needs and determine the most appropriate care method.
